What Will Happen In The Future in General? Millennials, the young people who were born between the year 1980 to 1990, will be top level decision-makers in governments, businesses, non-profit organizations, and in their own individual life globally in the very near future. The way they think, their lifestyle, their belief and personal values, and their behaviors will also change the world globally.


The future will be the Golden Ages for digital media, search engines, social media, and mobile apps on the internet. On the other side, the future will also be the Dark Ages for traditional conventional media, such as television, radio, and physically printed media. Most millennials will use the internet as their source of information and entertainment more than traditional conventional media.


In the future, more and more people will care about common global problems, such as finding cures for incurable diseases by biotechnology, reducing plastic waste, social justice, providing clean renewable energy globally, ensuring food security, helping other people in the society who are less fortunate, reducing poverty, etc.

Technology applications, such as Artificial Intelligence ( AI ), Virtual Reality ( VR ), Augmented Reality ( AR ), Internet of Things ( IoT ), cloud-based computing, Software as a Service ( SaaS ), automation, wearable devices, etc, will be massive in almost all aspects of governments, businesses, and individual life.


What Will The Future of Marketing Be?

In the very near future, the application of technologies in marketing, such as AI, marketing automation, cloud-based software, SaaS, etc, will be the norm and ordinary for almost all companies, from small to big giant multinational companies. It will not be competitive advantages anymore. The competitive advantages in marketing in the future will be the quality of humans who work in the marketing team of all companies around the world. The human quality of marketers will be the first and most important competitive advantage in the future of marketing.

Data collection for marketing researches will be easier, faster, and cheaper in the future. Marketers and marketing campaigns will be sharper in targeting their customers. Almost all companies, from small to big giant multinational companies, will have the right data about their targeted customers. Data will not be a competitive advantage anymore in the future of marketing.

There will be a massive global “digital content war” on the internet in the future. Digital contents on the internet will become too abundant in the future. People will be more and more selective to consume information from the internet through their digital devices. Only high-quality digital contents will get the biggest mind and heart share of targeted customers. Digital content quality is the second competitive advantage in the future of marketing.
